Sometimes the conditions imposed as part of a release order are too restrictive or no longer make sense as time passes. Whether it’s a no-contact order, curfew, or residency condition, strict bail terms can severely disrupt your personal and professional life.

Bail variations allow you to request changes to your release conditions. In many cases, these changes can be made with the consent of the Crown. In other cases, a formal application to the court may be required.
